Dino Lab Update

Hello!
I've been continuing to work on my fossilized jawbone in the paleontology lab. Three times a week I go in and scrub the crumbling rock around it, wash the fossil with a paintbrush, dry it out, fill the holes in the rock with beeswax, paint plastic composition over the bone, and submerge it in acid, and repeat.
For ages there's been speculation about the owner of the jawbone- whether it was a pleistosonic fish, or an ankleosaur. The bone is flaky like fish bone tends to be (apparently) though the shape of it was more characteristic of the dinosaur. Today, after pulling my chunk of rock out of the acid, more of the jawbone was exposed. And so were a beautiful row of molars.

FISH DON'T HAVE MOLARS!!!!!!!!

I am so excited. And thats all I've got for today. Hope you're well, thank you for reading.

  2. And by "you find" I meant "you found." I can, you know, speak English.
